The new generation enables more than 20% switching loss reduction and 5°C case temperature reduction at application tests in comparison to the 2nd generation RC IGBT from Infineon. The portfolio extension to 30A and 40A in 1350V enables the development of higher power rated designs in single-end topologies for applications up to 3.6kW.
